Fall Has Arrived

I know you are shocked that this is not another post about cloth diapers. I know... it is becoming an obsession. This is why I need to get my first placement ASAP.

What this is about is my love of fall! Let me clarify. I actually hate fall and winter. I hate the cold and anything under 75 degrees is cold. Living in Arizona is a good choice for me because of this reason. What I do love is decorating my house for fall and Christmas. Nothing makes my house feel more like a home than busting out my fall and Christmas decorations. Something about the rich colors make it feel so cozy. 

We do celebrate Halloween, but it isn't a big holiday in our home. For this reason, 90% of my decorations are simply harvest decorations. Also, I am cheap and so the decorations can take me from late September thru Thanksgiving. 

This will now always remind me of the Hunger Games.

We will see how long these little guys last. I realize butting straw above a stove may not be the safest. Then again I rarely use by back burners. If my house burns down, I will let you know.

As silly as this sounds it is one of me favorite decorations. It is just such a great way to display me cooking utensils. I have something similar for Christmas... you will see.  

Please excuse my sewing stuff. I am going to attempt to make curtains. If it isn't a horrible failure, I will tell you all about it.

To get me in the mood, I also had my pumpkin spice wax melts going. I needed some help getting in the decorating mood this year because it was in the 90's as I decorated. This is reason 907 that I love Arizona.
